No-Weld Fix for Small Steel Pipe Leaks

They are often installed above ground. A weld repair on an exposed steel pipe needs hot work and a shutdown. Our clamp uses mechanical locking only. No welding. No shutdown. The clamp is a single-piece open ring. The housing is QT450 ductile iron. The inside has an EPDM sealing pad. Slide it onto the pipe from the side and tighten the bolt. The sealing pad compresses against the steel surface. The clamp is small and does not add much bulk to the pipe. It does not block passageways or interfere with other equipment. You only need a standard wrench to install it.
