Comparison of reliability across different types of pipe repair clamps:
Double-clamp extended stainless steel repair clamp: Features a high-strength 304/316 stainless steel housing and a lip-type reinforced rubber sealing gasket. It accommodates axial displacement and angular deflection of the pipe, with sealing performance that improves as pressure increases. Certified by ISO9000, WRAS, and other international standards, it offers stable, long-term performance in critical applications such as oilfields, chemical plants, and municipal water supply networks, with a service life exceeding 10 years.

 

Standard single-clamp repair clamp:Simple in structure and easy to install, but limited in coverage length; it is suitable only for localized pinhole leaks or small cracks. It performs poorly in conditions involving axial displacement or large cracks, and its long-term sealing stability is inferior to that of double-clamp models.
Epoxy resin repair tape:Relies on chemical bonding for the seal and requires a pristine pipe surface. The bonding layer is prone to detachment under high temperatures or in the presence of highly corrosive media; long-term reliability is relatively low, making it best suited for temporary emergency repairs.
Shape-memory alloy repair clamp: Easy to install and compact, but imposes strict requirements regarding installation temperature and pipe roundness. In scenarios with significant pipe deformation, the uniformity of the clamping force upon contraction is insufficient, resulting in long-term sealing stability that falls short of mechanical clamp products.
Specialized repair clamps for elbows/circumferential welds: These are application-specific products that excel only in repairing leaks at elbows or circumferential welds. They lack versatility and cannot accommodate large-scale damage on straight pipe sections.
