Assessment Based on Visual Condition
The clamp housing shows signs of significant rust, paint loss, or deformation, or there is an accumulation of heavy grease, silt, or debris in the gaps.
Exposed fastening bolts show rust or stripped threads; a light turn with a wrench reveals insufficient torque or looseness.
The edges of the rubber seal show signs of aging (yellowing), fine cracks, or localized bulging, or the sealing strip appears displaced or squeezed out.
Assessment Based on Operating Conditions
The equipment has reached the preset maintenance interval for its specific application (6 months for civil applications; 1 month for high-pressure industrial applications).
The pipeline has recently been subjected to unusual operating conditions, such as overpressure surges, sudden changes in medium temperature, or external impacts.
The equipment is located in a harsh environment characterized by high humidity, strong corrosiveness, or heavy dust.
