Standard Socket Connection with Modern Sealing
The Socket Pipe Connector is our standard socket-type connection product. Socket connections are the most classic pipe joint type. They are simple, reliable, and easy to install. Our connector improves on the traditional design with better sealing and easier handling. It is ideal for new pipeline projects and pipe replacement work.
The connector has a socket (bell) end and a spigot (plain) end. The socket end has a groove for the sealing ring. The other pipe end inserts into this socket. For continuous pipelines, you connect multiple connectors in series.
The connection is a flexible socket joint. It allows some expansion compensation and angular adjustment. The EPDM sealing ring is molded to precise dimensions. The housing is one-piece cast QT450 ductile iron.
We have a complete quality control system. We inspect every product for appearance, dimensions, and pressure resistance. We use special gauges to check socket IDs, spigot ODs, and seal grooves. We hold ISO 9001 and a health permit for drinking water systems.
Used in Major City Water Project
A new district water network in a northwestern city used our Socket Pipe Connector for all DN200 and smaller lines. The soil in the area has collapsible properties. Flexible socket joints were required to handle ground settlement. The project used thousands of our connectors. After two years, a network survey found no leaks at any connector location. The project received positive feedback from the inspection team.
We offer a 10-year warranty. The sealing ring is replaceable. Maintenance costs are low. The epoxy coating resists corrosion for long buried service.
