Surface Preparation Tools: Wire brush, sandpaper, and cleaning cloth; used to remove rust, grease, and burrs from the area within 5–10 cm of the leak site.
Testing Tools:Pressure gauge; used to conduct a hydrostatic test after installation to verify the effectiveness of the seal.
Essential Materials List
Core Components: Clamp body, matching rubber gasket (EPDM or NBR material), and factory-supplied high-strength bolts and nuts.
Auxiliary Consumables:Lubricating grease or petroleum jelly; applied to the outer pipe wall and the gasket to reduce installation resistance and improve the sealing fit.
Optional Supplementary Materials: Sealant; used only when the surface of an old pipe is uneven. This can be omitted when using a new clamp, as it comes with a complete, integrated sealing structure.
