Standard Installation Steps
Select the Correct Model: Verify the pipe's outer diameter and material (steel, PVC, PE, etc.) and choose the appropriate repair clamp; do not mix sizes.
Thoroughly Clean the Pipe: Wipe the leak site and surrounding area clean, completely removing rust, paint flakes, and grease to ensure the pipe surface is clean and dry.
Apply Lubricant: Evenly apply soapy water or specialized lubricant to the pipe's outer wall and the clamp's rubber gasket to reduce friction and facilitate installation.
Align and Enclose the Leak: Position the two halves of the clamp around the leak, ensuring the leak is centered within the clamp.
Tighten Bolts Evenly: First, tighten the middle bolt to secure the position; then, tighten all bolts gradually and evenly in a diagonal pattern, ensuring consistent spacing on both sides.
Perform Final Inspection: Conduct a water or air pressure test after installation; the operation is complete only when the repaired area is confirmed to be completely leak-free.
