Complete Working Principle
Alignment and Insertion: The spigot ends-prepared with sealing surfaces-are inserted into the socket cavities of the connector body from both sides, achieving coaxial alignment.
Locking and Pressurization: High-strength bolts distributed around the circumference are tightened evenly; the flange glands transfer axial force simultaneously to the sealing contact surfaces on both sides.
Seal Formation: Under pressure, the precision metal sealing surfaces of the socket and spigot undergo elastic-plastic deformation, creating a sealing band characterized by annular line contact or narrow-surface contact.
Stable Operation:This metal sealing band effectively prevents the leakage of high-pressure internal media; the connection achieves high pressure and temperature resistance through the inherent physical properties of the metal body.
