Voltage Verification: Use a voltage tester to double-check all connection points and confirm there is no live current before proceeding.
Tool Preparation: Gather a Phillips/flat-head screwdriver, wire strippers, and electrical tape; ensure the new connector is an exact model match.
Steps to Remove the Old Connector
Use a screwdriver to remove the connector's outer casing and loosen the panel mounting screws.
Loosen the terminal screws one by one and carefully remove the internal wires from the old connector.
Clean off any oxidation or debris from the wire ends to ensure good contact for the new component.
Installation of the New Connector
Connect the wires according to the markings: Live (L) to the red/brown wire, Neutral (N) to the blue wire, and Ground (PE) to the yellow-green wire.
Strip about 1 cm of insulation to expose the copper core, wrap it clockwise around the terminal post, and tighten the screw securely.
After verifying the connections, secure the connector back in its mounting position and snap the casing shut to complete the installation.
