Static inspection of appearance and installation status
Insertion depth verification: Check the reference mark on the spigot end to ensure full insertion; the exposed length should be uniform with no deviation.
Coaxiality and appearance check: Ensure there is no obvious misalignment or offset between the pipes on either side of the connector, the housing is free of dents or cracks, and the exposed lengths of the locking hooks at both ends are consistent.
Seal condition check: Confirm that the rubber sealing ring is not extruded, twisted, or rolled over; for bonded joints, ensure the adhesive is applied evenly with no missed spots.
Latch and fastener check: Repeatedly press the latches on both sides to confirm proper elasticity and full engagement; ensure fastening bolts are not loose.
Specialized inspection of joint sealing performance
Gap verification: Use a feeler gauge to check the compression of the sealing ring; the joint gap must be ≤0.5 mm, ensuring the compression amount reaches 30%–40% of the sealing ring's original diameter.
Strength and pressure test: Maintain pressure at 1.5 times the working pressure for 1 hour; the test passes if the total pressure drop is ≤0.05 MPa.
Sealing integrity test: Reduce pressure to the rated working pressure and maintain it for 2 hours; perform continuous visual inspection to ensure no leakage or dampness at the joint.
Water flow/spraying verification: Conduct a low-pressure water flow or external spray test on the joint to confirm the absence of slow seepage, dripping, or other abnormalities.
