The housing walls are thick enough to handle soil loads. Even under deep burial, the housing does not deform. The gasket uses a wear-resistant EPDM compound. It performs well even in sandy water. The epoxy coating is twice as thick as our standard coating. This gives excellent corrosion resistance for long-term burial. The bolts have Dacromet anti-rust treatment. They stay removable even after years underground. This makes future pipe maintenance possible.
