Ductile Iron Double Socket Connector

The Ductile Iron Double Socket Connector is our premium connector for ductile iron pipe systems. Ductile iron pipe is used in over 70% of city water networks in China. Connections and repairs need compatible materials. Our connector uses QT450 ductile iron. This is the same material as the pipe. The connector and pipe become one uniform body. There is no galvanic corrosion risk.

Both ends are sockets with EPDM sealing rings. Insert the ductile iron pipe ends into each socket. The limit stops ensure correct insertion depth. The housing shape and wall thickness are optimized for strength. The design is compact but robust. This connector is ideal for emergency repairs and partial replacements on ductile iron networks. No welding and no flanges are needed. The mechanical installation works in tight valve pits and trenches.
